The MV Weserborg, a 10,000 DWT vessel in the Oslo Caribbean Carrier AS fleet, discharges one of several mobile cranes shipped to the Dominican Republic in 2022.  This one, a Link Belt Crawler Crane with 250 tons capacity was discharged in Puerto Plata.

The main body of the crane with a length of over 17meters and weighing 45mt was safely handled using the ships cranes in tandem.  The vessel is equipped with 2 x 60mt cranes combinable for lifts to 120mt.   

Thru our partnership with OCC, Dan-Gulf Shipping offers regular and flexible service from Mobile, Alabama to Rio Haina and Puerto Plata in the Dominican Republic with a frequency of several sailings per month.
